Room 3 - The Naked Piano

Last week Room 3 were trying to guess what the inside of a piano looked like.
What makes the sound?
Jacob guessed right - it has strings in it.

A piano also has hammers.
            There's one right there --->

Most pianos have 88 notes.
Some notes have one string,
some have two,
some even have three.

We found three different colours of felt - white, green and red.

  1. What awesome learning guys. So does that mean a piano is classified as a string instrument? It must be a big job to tune all the piano strings.
